Mid-June Update. This week\u2019s Twitter poll seemed pretty insightful for all of the peeps who are not sure what to do with their AMPs.<\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_id=&#8221;Page&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><b>GOOGLES\u2019 PAGE EXPERIENCE UPDATE<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Google initialized\u00a0the launch date as 19th May but now has delayed it to Mid-June stating it to be a \u201c<i><span>Gradual rollout<\/span><\/i><span>\u201d. This new ranking system update was announced in November last year and is called\u00a0<\/span>the \u201c<i>Page Experience Update<\/i><span>\u201d because much of its underlying principles will integrate <strong>Core Web Vitals<\/strong>, a set of search signals for page experience. Its full effect will only be seen up in August to tackle any unexpected changes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/acecliq.com\/lucknow\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/new-300x207-1.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" alt=\"Google page experience\" class=\"wp-image-35554 alignnone size-medium\" \/>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>With the page experience update, AMP will no longer be a mandate to top search results, because now simply adhering to core web vitals would do the job.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Know more about Google page experience update by watching this video<span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KagdS7M5Xns\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_id=&#8221;Now&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<h2><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><b>NOW SHOULD YOU KEEP THE AMP?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>First, let\u2019s see what the majority went with, is it keeping the AMP or removing it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/acecliq.com\/lucknow\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/new2-300x216-1.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"216\" alt=\"amp pie chart\" class=\"wp-image-35555 alignnone size-medium\" \/><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>SEO Twitteraties voted a YES for removing AMP pages from their websites. 41.2% of the SEO industry is thinking of removing these pages while a still smart fraction of 35.3% of the voters opted for adding AMP pages and the remaining 23.4% of them voted for just keeping AMP pages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well after seeing the math, I believe the majority first gonna go with the gradual flow of the Update. In SEO words, it will be a testing phase. You should try all options before finalizing your AMP strategies like not adding new pages for some time and observing the changes in rankings and traffic. You can also try removing a certain number of AMP pages and then seeing what happens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even when you get positive results you should keep trying different techniques until Google finalizes\u00a0its new page experience update in August. Google\u2019s new update is a time taking process and who knows AMP may still play an important role even after the rollout of this update.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>The most optimum strategy would be trying and noting the changes. Removing all pages or statically keeping old AMP pages or just not doing anything won\u2019t give you answers.
